SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant held an auction for 4,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 18 March’24. About 1,450 t was booked at an average price of INR 36,350/t exw. The last auction was conducted for 5,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 13 Mar in which the entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 36,650/t exw.
