State-owned SAIL has invited a purchase tender for 16,963 t of silico manganese (60-15) for its Rourkela Steel Plant, Odisha. The last date for bid submission is 10 Oct’22. A reverse auction will be conducted amongst all the technically qualified bidders except the highest quoting bidder. SteelMint’s silico manganese (60-14) prices were assessed at around INR 72,300 exw-Durgapur on 27 Sept.
