SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant conducted a crude coal tar auction of 2,000 t on 18 Sep’25, in which 1,100 t were booked at a weighted average price of INR 37,500/t ex-works. The result represents an INR 1,898/t increase compared to the previous auction for 9,000 t held on 30 Aug’25, where the weighted average price stood at INR 35,602/t ex-works.
