India: SAIL reports increase in steel output, sales in Q2 FY’22

SAIL’s crude steel production increased to 4.47 mn t, up 18.51%, q-o-q, and 17.09% on the year.
Hot metal production rose to 4.80 mn t, up 15.96%, q-o-q, and 16.05% annually.
Saleable steel production was 4.32 mn t, an increase of 15.11%, y-o-y.
Saleable steel sales stood at 4.28 mn t.
EBIDTA was at INR 7,248 crore in Q2 against INR 6,674 mn t in Q1.
