Indian government-owned – SAIL has decreased wire rod price by around INR 1,500/t ($21), sources have reported to SteelMint. The current wire rod coil SWR 10 (5.5 mm) offer stands at around INR 48,800-49,000/t, exw-Bhilai, excluding GST at 18%. The company’s output for long steel products stood at 4.17 mn t in CY ’20.
