PSU steel major SAIL has posted its best ever quarterly crude steel production of 4.71 mnt in Q3FY23, up 4% against 4.53 mnt in CPLY. Output registered a 10% growth q-o-q compared to 4.3 mnt in the previous quarter. Sales volumes increased by 8% y-o-y to 4.15 mnt in Q3 compared with 3.84 mnt in Q3FY22. However, sales dropped marginally by 1% q-o-q against 4.21 mnt in Q2FY23.
