Purchase of Silico Manganese

India: SAIL floats tender to purchase 42,600 MT Silico Manganese

Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), a unit of SAIL has invited bids for tentative purchase of 42,600 MT Silico manganese from indigenous manufacturers.

SAIL intends to procure Silico Manganese from indigenous manufacturers for a period of four months, starting from Feb’15-May’15, which will meet the requirement of following plants.

The material should contain minimum of 60% Manganese. Materials shall be dispatched through roadways and transportation shall be arranged by the bidder including freight charges on door delivery basis.

Last date for submission of bids will be on 16 Dec, 2014 at 13.00 hrs and technical bids will open on 17 Dec, 2014 at 10.30 hrs.

SAIL has also extended due date for purchase of 220 MT HC Ferro manganese chips from indigenous sources till 09 Dec, 2014 which was expected to close on 28 Nov, 2014.

MMTC’s Silico manganese purchase tender expiring on 16 Dec, 2014

MMTC has floated a tender for purchase of 500 MT Silico manganese for NINL having  manganese content minimum of 60% till 16 Dec, 2014.
