India: SAIL looks for Structural Conversion Agent through Tender

SAIL invites tender for Structural conversion agent for appointment as Wet-Leasing Agent(s) (WLA) at Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.

Tenderer should be a bonafide, resourceful, experienced person(s)/firms/companies for appointment as Wet-Leasing Agent(s) conversion of semis to medium/heavy Structural at Bhilai/Raipur.

WLA will be required to convert all the sizes of Structural in Angle 100 mm, Channel 125 mm, Joists 250-300 mm & Joists 500-600 mm as per SAIL requirement.

Tenderer must have a well-established process for conversion of 36,000 MT min and 72,000MT max of medium & heavy Structural per year. 

Eligibility 

• Tenderer should be a BIS license holder at the time of application and have reputed name
• They should have financially good record during past three years
• They shall have the facility of Spectrometer in its premises for chemical analysis of semis & finished products
• They have to offer full capacity to SAIL during tender period. They can’t sell their own brand to anyone
• The tenderer should have yearly capacity of  producing 36,000 MT and upto a maximum of 72,000 MT heavy Structural

Semis to be offered: Billet 125 mm, Bloom 150×150 BSP/ISP, BCB 210/230/350 DSP, Bloom rolled >250 mm BSP
