Indian govt owned steel manufacturer- SAIL has announced a hike of around INR 1,250/t in list prices of HRC for Nov deliveries, SteelMint learned from its sources. After the increase, the effective price of HRC stands at INR 44,200/t (exy-Mumbai). Robust demand in auto and higher production cost can be attributed to further hike in steel prices.
