Steel Authority of India (SAIL), the largest manufacturer of flat steel product (HRC/CRC) keeps its prices unchanged for the month of August '13 over low buying from end users and less booking from MOU holders.
Currently, ex-works price of HRC is in the range of Rs 34,000-35,000/MT (Basic, ED and taxes extra). Whereas, prices which are trading at retail end across the major cities are in the range of Rs 39,000-40,000/MT (Including ED, VAT Extra)
SteelMint assessed from the sources that other primary producers like ESSAR and JSW Steel has increased their prices by Rs 500-700/MT.
GP Coil prices across the country are in the range of Rs 50,000-51,500/MT.
