SAIL has floated a tender to procure 14,570 t of ferro silicon lumps (Si: 70% min, 10-100 mm) and 90 t of fines (Si: 70% min, 0-5 mm). The bid submission deadline is 11 Sep’25, with delivery to be completed within four months from the date of the purchase order. As per BigMint, ferro silicon (Si: 70%, 25-150 mm) prices stood at INR 86,000/t ($976/t) exw-Guwahati on 5 Sep’25.
