SAIL has floated a purchase tender for 9,000 t of high carbon (HC) silico manganese (Grade: 60-15, Size: 25-50mm) for its IISCO Steel Plant based in Burnpur, West Bengal. The last date for submission of bids is 6 Apr’23 and the bid offer is valid for 50 days from the end date. SteelMint’s assessment for silico manganese prices stood at INR 72,200/t exw-Durgapur as on 27 Mar’23.
