Govt. owned – SAIL (Steel Authority of India) has iron ore fines e-auction from Bolani mines was scheduled today (i.e. 19th Mar’20). The entire quantity offered remained unsold due to cautious buying amid coronavirus outbreak.
The auction was conducted for 100,000 MT iron ore fines (Fe 62.5%) from its Bolani mines.
Last month SAIL’s Bolani iron ore auction received a good response and 100,000 MT offered was booked at INR 2,260-2,270/MT (loaded to rake, Royalty, DMF, NMET & other taxes extra).
Another lot of 100,000 MT iron ore fines (Fe 62%) auction from its Barsua mine is scheduled tomorrow (i.e on 20th Mar’20).
