India: SAIL invites Tender for sale of 60% Iron Fines

SAIL has floated a tender cum e-auction for sale of 7,650 MT Iron ore fines.

Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant, a unit of SAIL based in Badravathi, is offering 7,650 MT Iron ore fines (Fe 60%) in the domestic market. The material will be available on ‘As is Where is’ and ‘No Complaint’ basis. Sale of the material will purely on ex-works basis and for domestic consumers.

The material will be sold only for domestic consumption inside India not for export.

Loading & Transportation: It should be done at buyer’s end and should be responsible for safe loading of the material along with payment of necessary loading charges required.

In case bidder intends to transport the material through rail, applicable charges should be paid in advance to SAIL and then the company will allow to load the material in VISL siding.

Lifting of entire quantity of the material should be completed within 60 days from the date of sale order.

Last date for submission of offers will be on 19 Jan, 2015 at 17.00 hrs.

Note: Fe content is only indicative and SAIL-VSP shall not give any guarantee for the minimum Fe content.
