SAIL has invited tender for appointment of Structural conversion agents for converting Semis into Joist 250/Channel 250, Joists 500 and Rounds (above 40 mm) at Nagpur.
Tenderer should be manufacturer or re-rollables along with bonafide, resourceful, financially sound person(s)/firm(s)/company.
After conversion, finished goods should recover 95% of used re-rollable material.
Eligibility
- Tenderers should be a BIS license holder and have reputed name
- They should have financially good record during past three years
- Conversion agent’s mill would preferably need to have ISO 9000 certification
- Tenderers must have necessary equipments and embossing facility
- SAIL is interested to appoint each conversion agent for the three categories namely Joist 250 & Channel 250, Joist 500 and Rounds above 40 mm
