SAIL is planning to setup a 2 MnT Pellet plant at Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) in Jharkhand.
SAIL, India’s one of the largest Steel producers, has invited bid through EoI to setup a 2 MnT Pellet plant on BOO (Build-Own-Operate) basis at Bokaro. Also, the company intends to procure 2 MnT pa BF grade Iron Pellets on conversion cost basis.
Scope of work mainly includes
- Receiving, storage and handling of raw material
- Grinding, proportioning and mixing
- Balling, induration and cooling
- Finished product storage & dispatch
Design & operation of plant shall confirm to pollution control norms for Pellet plant of Central Pollution Control Board of Indian Government.
Desired Pellet Quality
- Fe: 64% (approx)
- Size: 9-16 mm
- Porosity: 24-28 %
Eligibility
- Tenderers should have experience of owning or setting up of Pellet plant of not less than 1 MnT pa capacity
- Tenderers should have annual financial turnover of at least INR 3,000 million or equivalent to Foreign Exchange during preceding three financial years
