India: SAIL increases flat steel prices by up to INR 1,500/t for early-October sales

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has increased the list prices of HRC and CRC by INR 1,000/t ($12) and HR plates by INR 1,500/t ($18) for early-Oct’22 sales, sources informed SteelMint. Effective prices-

• HRC (2.5-8mm, IS2062): INR 57,000/t ($692)
• CRC (0.9mm, IS 513 Gr O): INR 65,000/t ($789)
• HR plate (20-40 mm, E250): INR 62,500/t ($759)
• Prices are on exy-Mumbai basis, excluding 18% GST
