SAIL has made 2nd hike in rebar prices by INR 500/t particularly for retail segment and specific regions, trade sources report to SteelMint. Current rebar (12-32mm) prices stand at INR 39,000-39,200/t ex-Mumbai and excluding GST 18%. However, distributors based in the western and southern India shared that sales volumes are not upto the mark.
