SAIL has invited a global tender for purchase of 40,800 MT high carbon ferro chrome for its Salem Steel Plant, Tamil Nadu.
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is the India’s largest steelmaker and produces a variety of steel and iron products including pig iron, flat and long products and special steels at its plants spread over India. The company will require a projected quantity of about 40,800 MT HC ferro chrome for Salem Steel Plant.
Chemical Specification:

Note: Phosphorous and sulphur together should not exceed 0.085%.
The bidder should offer minimum 1,000 MT per Month.
The bidders shall be a manufacturer/Supplier of High Carbon Ferro Carbon.
Delivery: The supply shall start from 7 days of order placement and shall supply 1,250 MT within 10 days.
