Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has floated a purchase tender for around 12,000 t (10-50 mm) of silico manganese 60-15 grade on 15 Oct’21 from its Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. SteelMint’s daily silico manganese (25-150 mm, 60-14) index was assessed at INR 130,400/t exw-Raipur on 12 Oct’21. Prices have increased on burgeoning power costs and fast-rising global prices.
