Steel Authority of India Limited’s Salem Steel Plant has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) for procuring stainless steel slabs from domestic and international suppliers. The proposed procurement includes grades 304 (4,500T), 310S (300T), 316L (600T), 321 (150T), 409 (500T), and 441 (300T). This move reflects SAIL’s efforts to secure diverse alloy grades amid shifting demand dynamics and support consistent downstream production capabilities.
