State-owned SAIL has invited a purchase tender for 14,600 t of silico manganese (60-15) for its Durgapur Steel Plant, West Bengal. The last date for bid submission is 25 Aug’22. A reverse auction will be conducted amongst all the technically qualified bidders except the highest quoting bidder. SteelMint’s silico manganese (60-14) prices were assessed at INR 78,000-79,000/t exw-Durgapur on 16 Aug.
