PSU major Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has produced 47 jumbo HR coils, weighing 32 t each and measuring 3.5 x 1,500 mm at its Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha.
With this, the company enters a club of select steel producers and a niche market. RSP successfully rolled out 10,000 t of coils from its hot strip mill-2 (HSM-2) on 3 Jan’22.
