SAIL’s Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) held an auction for 2,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 26 Apr’24. The total quantity was booked at an average price of INR 41,400/t exw. The last auction had been conducted for 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 12 Apr’24, with the entire quantity getting booked at an average price of INR 39,550/t exw.
