India’s largest steel producer, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), has scheduled an auction for 681 t (20-50 mm) of HC ferro chrome (60%) on 20 Mar’25 for its Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP). The bid offer is valid for 60 days from the date of the auction. BigMint’s assessment of ferro chrome prices stood at INR 101,600/t exw-Jajpur as of 7 Mar’25.
