India’s largest steel producer, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), has scheduled an auction for 590 t (10-150 mm) of HC ferro chrome (60%) on 2 Jan’23 for its Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP). The bid offer is valid for 30 days from the date of auction. SteelMint’s assessment for ferro chrome prices stood at INR 101,200/t exw-Jajpur as on 23 Dec’22.
