Steel Authority Of India (SAIL) has reduced its pig iron offers by INR 400/MT (USD 6) from its Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP).
According to the recent circular issued by the company on Thursday, the pig iron (mixed prime) offers stands at INR 24,100/MT for a quantity of 20,000 MT, reduced by INR 400/MT. The fresh offers also attract trade discount of INR 200-400/MT, as per trade sources.
Prior to this, the company raised the pig iron offers by INR 500 (USD 7), standing at INR 24,500/MT (USD 342) on 3 Dec’19.
Meanwhile, offers through the traders assessed at around INR 24,200-24,300/MT FoR Raipur.
Inline with this, prices in other major locations are hovering at INR 23,500-23,900/MT ex-Durgapur, INR 23,300-23,500/MT ex-Bokaro, Jharkhand, INR 22,700-22,900/MT ex-Jajpur, Odisha & INR 26,000/MT FoR Ludhiana.
