SAIL today conducted an auction for 4,000t steel grade pig iron from its Rourkela Steel plant. As per sources, the total quantity got booked in the range of INR 23,200-400/t, EXW out of which 90% material fetched bids at INR 23,300/t EXW. Prices fell marginally by INR 100/t against the last auction which was concluded at INR 23,300-500/t EXW.
