Steel Authority of India Ltd. conducted two pig iron auctions today. The one conducted from Durgapur Steel plant for 1,000 t received overwhelming response with entire quantity booked at INR 28,500-28,550/t exw. The other auction conducted from IISCO for 500 t fetched bid at INR 28,550/t exw, SteelMint learned from sources.
