Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has booked 104,000 t iron ore fines (Fe 61.3%) from its Barsua mines in Odisha through an e-auction at the base price, SteelMint learned from its sources. The base price was set at INR 2,500/t on loaded to wagons basis. The last auction from Barsua mines conducted on 17 Sept’20 had received bids at INR 2,690-2,700/t.
