Steel Authority of India (SAIL) conducted an e-auction for 100,000 t iron ore fines today from its Barsua mines, Odisha. Out of the total quantity, 60,000 t fines (Fe 59%) received bids at INR 1,480/t and the rest 40,000 t (Fe 54.5%) received bids at INR 650/t (loaded into rakes and excluding royalty), sources have reported to SteelMint. Bids fetched were close to the set base price.
