SAIL has conducted an auction for 1,000 t off-grade pig iron today from its Durgapur Steel Plant, West Bengal. The auction received good participation with entire quantity being booked at INR 24,770-24,800/t EXW. The previous auction for 400 t pig iron on 16 Jun’20 was concluded at INR 24,400-24,425/t EXW.
