SAIL’s Chandrapur Ferro Alloys Plant (CFP) conducted an auction for 600 t of silico manganese (0-10mm, 51-58%mn) on 13 Dec’22. Out of the total quantity, 500 t was booked. At the auction, 200 t of Mn: 58% grade material was booked at INR 66,200/t. SteelMint’s assessment of silico manganese (60-14) prices stood at around INR 73,500/t exw-Raipur on 12 December.
