SAIL-BSP conducted an auction for 10,700 t (60 kg and 52 kg) of full-length commercial rails on 28 Nov’22 from Bhilai-Chhattisgarh. Buyers showed weak response due to higher base price and booked 400 t of (52 kg )rail at INR 65,500/t exw while 3,000 t (60 kg) rail at 42,000/t exw. Prices were decreased as compare to last auction in which 750/t of (60 kg) rail booked at INR 43,300/t exw.
