India: SAIL-BSP to auction 6,500 t of commercial rails on 20 Jan

Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) will conduct an auction for 6,500 t (60 kg) of full-length commercial rails from its flagship Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in Chhattisgarh on 20 Jan’22. At the previous SAIL-BSP rails auction held on 7 Jan, buyers booked 20,000 t (60 kg) rails at a weighted average price of INR 39,310/t exw, as per SteelMint reports.
