Stated-owned steel producer SAIL has scheduled an auction for 5,700 t of iron scrap (Fe 85-90% recovery) from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) on 25 Nov’21. At the previous auction on 15 Nov, buyers had booked 4,350 t of iron scrap (recovery above 90%) at a weighted average price of INR 34,210/t. Bid prices decreased by INR 4,940/t compared to an earlier auction on 22 Oct.
