SAIL had earlier issued a purchase tender for 13,710 t of ferro silicon (Si: 70% min, 10-100 mm) for its six plants across India. At the reverse auction concluded today, the entire material was booked at INR 103,765/t FOR, excluding taxes, officials informed. Delivery of the material is scheduled within four months from the date of the purchase order.
