Govt owned steelmaker – SAIL conducted an auction from its Taldih mines in Odisha for 80,000 low-grade iron ore dump fines. The miner had offered four lots of 20,000 t each with grades ranging from Fe 52-55.4%. The bids received were in the range of INR 400-860/t (excluding Royalty, DMF & other taxes).
