SAIL’s Burnpur steel plant has concluded a reverse auction for 10,500 t of silico manganese, which was booked at INR 126,000/t, inclusive of GeM portal and GST charges. The net realisation after deduction of the said charges stands at INR 106,779/t delivered to plant. The ordered quantity has to be delivered within four months. SteelMint assesses silico manganese at around INR 105,000/t ex-Durgapur.
