The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 20,000 t of iron ore CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 61%) from its Barsua mines in Odisha on 18 Jun’25. According to sources, the entire volume offered was booked at the base price of INR 5,500/t. Prices are on ex-mines basis and include royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
