India: SAIL-Barsua auction receives premium bids for around 40,000 t of iron ore

SAIL-Barsua auctioned 39,600 t of iron ore tailings on 3 Sep’24. Sources informed –

• One lot of 19,840 t of tailings (Fe 58.40%) was booked at INR 3,125/t against base price of INR 2,375/t.
• The second lot of 19,760 t of tailings (Fe 58.28%) was booked at INR 2,975/t against base price of INR 2,375/t.

Prices were on ex-mines basis and included royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
