Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today from its Meghahatuburu mines in Jharkhand for 120,000 t iron ore tailings. Material offered was of grades Fe 57.8%, Fe 58.7% and Fe 59.1% with lot of 40,000 t each. According to sources report to SteelMint, the miner received bids for 56,000 t at around INR 1,710-2,000/t (loaded into rakes and excluding royalty).
