India’s largest steel producer, Steel Authority of India Limited’s (SAIL’s) Alloy Steels Plant (ASP) conducted an auction for around 500 t of cast iron scrap (Rejected Mould, Bottom Plates & Slag Pots) from its Durgapur-West Bengal unit on 9 Dec’22 in which the entire material got sold at INR 37,050/t ex-work. The auction was conducted on Mjunction platform.
