SAIL has scheduled an auction for 6,000 t of basic grade pig iron on 6 Oct’21 from Bokaro Steel Plant. At the previous auction on 29 Sep, 4,000 t of pig iron was booked at INR 42,850/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 2,800/t ($37/t) compared to the previous auction on 22 Sep, which had concluded at a weighted average price of INR 40,050/t exw.
