State-run Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) has scheduled an auction for 6,850 t (three rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 15 Sept’21 from the Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand, as per SteelMint reports. At the previous auction on 8 Sept, the base price was INR 37,000/t and the auction had closed without a single bid. The bid price this time may vary compared to the previous auction, SteelMint notes. Earlier, an auction conducted on 1 Sept for 4,000 t of pig iron was sold out at INR 37,200/t.
