India: Sagar Cements reports 13% y-o-y growth in cement sales in Q1FY’27

Sagar Cements reported a 13% y-o-y increase in cement sales volume to 1.61 mnt in Q1FY’27, while production also rose 13% y-o-y to 1.63 mnt. Revenue increased 5% y-o-y to INR 706.07 crore, supported by improved capacity utilisation of 63% and higher green power usage at 22%. However, EBITDA declined 40% y-o-y to INR 72.42 crore, and the company reported a net loss of INR 28.10 crore.
