Sagar Cements has commissioned an additional 0.5 mnt cement grinding unit at its Jeerabad plant in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh. The expansion increases the facility’s grinding capacity from 1 to 1.5 mnt/y and takes the total cement capacity to 11 mnt/y. The added capacity is expected to strengthen the company’s footprint in central India and support rising demand from infrastructure, housing and industrial construction sectors.
