India: S. African iron ore lump import offers range-bound

South African iron ore lump import offers remain unchanged on falling global prices. Imported lump (Fe 65%) stands at $140/t CNF Kandla.

• Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) prices decreased by $4 w-o-w to $120/t CNF China on 28 Oct’21. Spot iron ore lump premium increased to $0.2250/dmtu.
• A vessel carrying 120,000 t of SA lumps is likely to arrive at India’s west coast by mid-Nov.
