In a confirmed deal, 25,000 t of Russian 6000 NAR (56%FC) coal has been booked at $190/t CFR India basis. The September arriving vessel is being sold to a sponge iron unit. A cement manufacturer is also heard buying the similar grade at $198/t CFR India basis. Russian coal demand continue to gains strength in Indian steel and cement industry.
