In two confirmed deals, 75,000 t of Russian 6000 NAR (60%FC) coal has been booked at $190/t CFR India basis while another 75,000 t of Russian 6000 NAR of similar FC was booked at $188/t at CFR India basis east coast. With rising demand for Russian coal in the Indian market, miners have been offering steep discounts, selling at over $40/t lower than mid-CV South African coal prices.
